As the tagline says, I’m a banker based in Melbourne, Australia.
Formerly an Arts/Law graduate, I dabbled in journalism and government relations, worked briefly in China, before returning home to explore emerging technologies underpinning the global movement of money, liquidity and assets (i.e. international payments and trade).
I’ve spoken at various conferences while in the innovation team at one of Australia’s biggest banks, working on national and global projects to do with Central Bank Digital Currencies, stablecoins, tokenised assets and NFTs. In 2023, I won the Rising Star industry award from Women in Banking and Finance Australia.
As a nerd of many flavours, I also love diving deep into geopolitics, grand strategy, military history and anything with a “big-picture” lens or philosophical touch. Sometimes these topics collide with the world of banking and finance. And heck, it always makes for good conversations at the bar (or a post on this blog).
